About James T. Robinson
Jim Robinson brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership and corporate success to his role as chief executive officer of National Spine & Pain Centers. Prior to joining National Spine & Pain Centers, he served as president of the Hospice Division of Amedisys, Inc., a $1.2 billion publicly traded company, where he oversaw 82 care centers, 2,000 care givers and a 135-person sales team. During the course of his career, he has worked with a wide spectrum of healthcare services including medical devices, e-health, physician-to-patient communication, pharmaceutical CRM services, alternative care delivery sites and payer cost containment services.
As a result of his experience managing the delivery of hospice care and ensuring patients in pain were managed appropriately, Robinson is deeply committed to ensuring that National Spine & Pain Center professionals provide their patients with the most innovative and effective treatments available in pain management today. He has a core respect for patients and caregivers, believing that there is nothing more compassionate and caring than helping patients address and manage their pain. A proven collaborator with extensive success in creating value in healthcare ventures, Robinson works closely with National Spine & Pain Centers’ physician leaders, corporate executives and the entire NSPC team to ensure quality care and service for all patients.
Robinson earned his master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history from Connecticut College in New London, CT.
Since its founding in 2011, National Spine & Pain Centers has cemented its position as the nation’s largest and most respected pain management company, growing from 10 regional locations to 50 locations stretching from Virginia to Connecticut. More than 100 National Spine & Pain Center clinicians annually attend over 300,000 patient visits, seeing 30,000 new patients a year.
